"Our family loved Free to Be Me Preschool wholeheartedly. We felt that our son was loved and supported by each teacher. He could not have been cared for and taught by more loving, capable, or trained teachers. Outside school, as parents, we felt that the teachers knew our family well enough to help us through any developmental or transitional challenges; a support I wish that we still had!! It was a very unique and special situation with the incredible support and understanding available to us. Lastly, and probably most importantly, the community of families is wonderful, and after being away for over a year, we are still close with many of them and consider them family. I could not more highly recommend this magical preschool."

"My son went to Free to Be Me a few years ago and had the greatest experience! He is still friends with kids he met there and we met amazing family friends we are still close with years later. The teachers are so caring and fun. They encourage independent play and also will jump in and play any game the kids have come up with. The philosophy at the school puts a big emphasis on letting kids be themselves rather trying to mold them into a curriculum or established program which I could see built a huge amount of confidence in my son. The number of kids is also perfect. It’s enough that the kids have a blast but not too many that the kids can’t get individual attention. The school is also beautiful with a focus on the outdoors. When you walk in you feel transported into a fairytale. I loved the experience, the teachers, the school and the magical memories. I highly recommend!"

"Free To Be Me is a magical little world tucked into a quiet neighborhood in Del Rey. My youngest adored her time there and still talks about how much she loved the back garden and the thoughtful activities and experiences she had while part of the FTBM community. We have been part of three different preschools with my three children, and Free To Be Me was by far my favorite. Even my older boys - who only visited as elementary aged children, love it the most! It is so considerate of childhood as a fleeting moment in time, especially in a large metropolis in the 21st century. It's slow and lovely and fosters imagination and social-emotional growth in such an important way. I recommend it to everyone."
