"Mia and Megan told me if I have my application in by the 7th of any month I will be fine now I come in to turn my stuff in and I can’t even apply because they don’t know if it will be processed or not ! Need to stop giving out false information especially with us people who on rent assistance that’s not cool we have a deadline to follow and they don’t seem to care!"
"Takes their sweet time doing maintenance and landscaping sucks! Got charged cat fee after we surrendered our cat… taking forever to get a refund…. Can’t wait to see what’s to come when we leave our lease."
"As far as our home, it was beautiful, no bug issues, no loud neighbors, no stolen packages. The only thing that was a problem was them not being more understanding. My husband and I got Covid and it was really bad. We got it AFTER the rent thing expired where if you got Covid and were off work, the landlords couldn’t evict you. Just our luck, we caught it after that expired, so they were quick to evict us. I tried talking to them and explaining our situation, but like most people, most landlords, they just wanted their money. My husband was out of work for months because his Covid was really bad. Again, they didn’t care, they just wanted their money. Management is cold, and they don’t care about their tenants."
"This place has been a living nightmare. They used to raise the rent by 75 dollars every year without fail and then they got this computer system that says well we can probably scam them for more money. Had other new tenets come in and treat the common areas like it was additional seating. I had an upstairs apartment and the tenet below me decided to light their grill up right under me on my porch. Called the office their solution was to put stickers in everyone's apartment letting them know grilling was to be done in the grassy areas. They finally re did the parking lot, I just feel bad for the downstairs people as the parking lot is now level with the sidewalk so nothing to stop people from accidently driving into your living room. Had another tenet use the area outside the storage areas as their own personal storage areas blocking the rest of us from getting to our storage area. Called the office no answer, walked in cause they were there just didn't want to answer the phone. They said it was stuff left from a previous resident so they couldn't do anything about it. Hey remember that they redid the parking lot? Well they said it would be two days we weren't allowed to park in our spots but ended up being almost 4 days. They sent a letter telling us to call Milwaukee City and get overnight parking permits so we can park on the street, when asked if they would be able to pay for any of the disabled people that can't walk that far, they said they weren't offering that. Found a weak spot in the floor and reported the maintenance guy came and said the carpet was holding that spot up so it's fine. Had a bird fly down the bathroom exhaust fan and just staring at us blocking the fan from moving without a way to just turn the light on and not the fan, was told they couldn't do anything and animal control would have to be called about it. They finally came once we asked if they were gonna pay for a hotel for us cause we can't use the light in the bathroom without the fan catching fire cause it can't move, and we only had one bathroom. Our back balcony we haven't been able to use in years cause it's not sealed properly and instead of fixing it they told us to just leave the plastic sheet over it year round. In addition to the new $1300 price tag for rent they are also requiring you to buy a renters insurance policy and have them listed on the policy. If you have any issues with the apartment and use their online service request make sure to print it out for your records as they have a tendency of being deleted without issues resolved. The walls are paper thin so you will hear anything and everything everyone around you says. Also the fire department and or ambulance is usually here weekly. It's especially problematic at the Layton groove site as there is only one way in or out. I had gotten into a disagreement with some tenets once about me asking them to not lean on my vehicle while they are standing in the parking lot chit chatting. They tried to tell me it was their car and to buzz off. I had to pull the key fob out and set the car alarm off. You have to pay for a second spot, but if someone else parks in your spot it's on you to get them to move or call the towing company as the leasing office doesn't answer the phone or will tell you to deal with it. Will be moving out after this lease ends as you can rent an RV site at a state park for $15 a day while here wants almost $45. Do yourself and family a favor DON'T LIVE HERE!!!!!!!!"
"They claim I owe them 3200 dollars in damages. Lol these people are very unprofessional. Racist etc. the list goes on. I lived here for 2 years. The maintenance people ( DIFFERENT GUYS ) just use to walk in my home no phone call no knock NOTHING ! SINK ALWAYS WAS BOGUS ! I JUST DONT SEE THE 3200 dollars in damages. Somebody let me know if y’all see it"
