Hyatt Place Milwaukee-West

"Was in town for a family funeral. This place was sufficient and near locations. Several complaints I have is the bed was creaky and one side is too soft so it seems a bit lopsided. Other complaints is it's not in the control of the staff but the guests who brought kids to the place. They need to control their kids as they were rowdy and loud and in the middle of the night ...running around knocking doors and running off."

"**1st Visit** Budget Friendly** 18 - 20 Minutes From Downtown. **Free Breakfast (with meat). A fairly stocked Bar (with Bartender), and a TV Cove, w/ Barstools, are all located near the Lobby. You can place an order of food from the kitchen. Very Clean room / bathroom. The Sofa Bed Area has an Entertainment Section. The Staff is Awesome!! Shout Out To: 1) Bartenders: Zach, and Char 2) Front Desk Staff Member: Mia, who helped my with my Early Check In (Over the phone before arriving), 3) the ENTIRE Front Desk Crew, and 4) ENTIRE The Cleaning Staff!! Everyone was extremely accommodating! I'll definitely be back.! My New FAVE!"

"In the notes for my reservation, I noted that we would be arriving late. Our flight landed in ORD at midnight, so we were driving from Chicago to spend time with family in the area. When I arrived I was told I would have to wait a while to check-in since they had started closing the books for the night. Not sure what value adding my note added if it was ignored. Getting in late, knowing we had to get up in just a few hours, then having to wait even thought I told the hotel ahead of time I was going to be late was very frustrating. When we woke a few hours later, we showered and noticed there wasn't any shampoo in the room. We didn't have time to run down to the front desk and come back up, so we dealt with it, but again a lack of attention to detail made our entire day a little more frustrating. On my way out, I asked the front-desk to make sure to put shampoo in our room when they cleaned it. When we returned late at night, there was shampoo but apparently they thought we just wanted shampoo. That's the only reason I can think of why they stepped over the dirty towels on the floor to give us shampoo and failed to clean the actual room. When I checked in, they asked if we wanted daily housekeeping. I said we did. Again, no attention to detail. I had to go downstairs, get towels, bring them up, and deal with the dirty ones on the floor in the bathroom. The room was also filthy. There's a weird sticky spot on the floor near the window that was absolutely disgusting to accidentally step on. Just...ick. I'm not sure what they provided for me that first night. I was probably better off just staying in my car. I'd stay elsewhere."

"The room and bathroom were in perfect shape. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. A little road noise, but is expected located next to highway. Free breakfast a gym and a indoor pool with hot tub."

"Great airport hotel! Clean, spacious, and modern rooms. So quiet, even across the street from the airport. The staff are great, and very accommodating. George, the manager, or one of the managers, is always super helpful when we stay there. The breakfast they provide is leagues above what other airport hotels provide - fresh food, ample amounts, and a good selection of food, including eggs, fruits, etc. This Hyatt Place is our go-to when in MKE, either for the airport or doing things south of the city."
