"I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SCHOOL!! Everyone is so nice and amazing. The residence kids are just as amazing as the magnet kids. Very few teachers are.... interesting. Especially the 7th grade history teacher...ugh. other than that I LOVE THIS SCHOOL!!! It's also pretty sad that Mr. Huffman retired this year... The science teachers are the best in this school! To do good, I'm serious DON"T PROCRASTINATE.... and really focus in your classes. That's the key to success. I procrastinated on a few things, but i didn't procrastinate on a lot of other assignments and i was really happy because my friends ended up staying up all night. And to be honest the people who say this school is bad, its because they didn't try at all and they're stupid. :)"

"This school has the most pathetic principal and assistant principal I have dealt with throughout my life. If the top two role models are pathetic what can you expect from the rest of the staff. My son is in their special education class and there was an incident in the locker room 3 weeks ago so I went to the principal to come up with solutions and her advise to me was to discipline my son more as she doesn't have enough staff to put for supervision?? I had to go to the district to get them to do their job. And yesterday my son was approached by the PE teacher telling him he can no longer dress in the locker room as he received a note from the assistant principal, thank god my son handled it very well by asking questions as he has been great since the incident 3 weeks ago. Then they realized this note was 3 weeks old. He's at his 3rd and last year at this school and I am counting down his days."

"My daughter went here for almost two years (6th -7th) and she was bullied both year. As she got later into the year the kids' bullying had worsen. It got so bad to the point she had to switch schools. She had become depressed from this type of experience. The teachers were fine. But the students in there were too harsh on my daughter. She told me about the rumors and other things. If I could I would rate it zero stars."

"Really good school for almost all children. There are about 6-8 fun field trips every year. School dances, and special events are also organized. Magnet students get a little TOO MUCH HOMEWORK. Some fights occur between magnet and non magnet students. Staff could be better. students are not much well behaved but that is not mostly the school's problem."

"An amazing school! Students here get all the things to move to high school and college. They have many events, clubs and amazing classes. You should go into Magnet because teachers in Magnet (or Honors) are awesome, they love teaching their students and they make learning interesting and fun. Your child is also very safe, security are there until all students are home. After school there are security roaming the surrounding neighborhood to make sure they are safe. Bullying is highly not tolerated and that's good, also have great counselors with troubled students. Overall just amazing school and you should try it out. -Former Student"
