"Dear Georgia, Thank you very much for everything you are doing for making me feeling at home here. You are the best :) You are always kind and answering every time i need something from the office. Thank you David"
"We love living at The Porticos. We especially appreciate the kindness of assistant manager Geogia. She goes above and beyond to make our living here not just pleasant but welcoming and kind. We are blessed to have her."
"I am keeping my identity secret so this place doesn't do anything to my dad that lives here. That is how shady this place is. Absolutely horrible place. Don't live here. I managed to leave, but my dad is still stuck here for now. If you are handicapped and expect the elevator to work year-round, it doesn't. A very disrespectful person named Chris informed me that the elevator breaks down three times a year and then places the blame on WE Energies, stating it isn't their problem. However, it is their problem. The landlord is responsible for ensuring the amenities they provide work as intended. So, if this is a common issue, they are too cheap to fix it. I mentioned that my mom lives on the 3rd floor, and his insensitive remark was, 'What is she going to do if there's a fire?' Obviously, that's when you don't use the elevator. Additionally, the parking garage on the bottom floor requires navigating stairs to reach the first floor, which is not considerate of people with walkers or the elderly trying to carry groceries. The parking garage constantly floods with water, and when it does, they leave the garage door open, compromising any security for the garage and your car. If the power goes out, there's no backup for the lights in the parking garage, so good luck finding your car. The manager, Gloria, is incredibly rude as well. This isn't the apartment for you. The rent they charge and the increase if you stay here are not worth it. There are plenty of better, more handicap-friendly, and suitable places to live. I hope you raise these concerns if you don't listen to my warning. Another thing about the elevator is that it doesn't seem safe at all. It feels like a death trap when it is actually working. UPDATE: The very next day the water heater "blew up" and the building didn't have hot water for nearly 2 days. In Wisconsin, as in many jurisdictions, landlords are required to maintain their properties in a condition that ensures the safety and health of their tenants. This includes ensuring that essential services like elevators, especially in a building with handicapped residents, are in good working order. If an elevator frequently breaks down, it could be considered a failure to maintain the property properly, especially if it adversely affects tenants with disabilities."
"I have resided at the Porticos for a few years and found it to be a comfortable and convenient place to live. The management team, Georgia and Troy work to respond in a professional & timely manner to requests and unit repairs. Recently my washer overflowed, it was replaced within hours. The replaced washer required an adjustment and Georgia responded quickly requesting additional maintenance. I have found Georgia to be friendly and professional and appears to be genuinely interested in each resident's comfort and welfare. Troy recognizes the need to respond to residents requests and he too works to assist to resolve various issues and requests as soon as possible juggling overall property management and resident needs."
"I LOVE living at the Porticos! First, the whole staff has been nothing but kind and accommodating to me - I have really enjoyed working with Troy, Georgia, Jacob, Roy, and Mike through leasing and other small maintenance requests. Second, the buildings are beautiful and whenever I walk into the main entrance door of my building I feel like I'm entering a glitzy mansion. And, the apartments are huge with large washer/dryers and updated appliances. Third, the parking situation here is unreal. I love the large heated garage and the parking spaces right in front of the buildings for easy unloading. I also love having packages delivered right to my door! Finally, the indoor and outdoor pools and fitness center are fantastic amenities. I love the option to be able to swim all year long."
