"As someone who received an email from this school informing me that I had received a full tuition scholarship, I was ecstatic. However, my excitement was short-lived. A few days after the initial email, I discovered that the scholarship email had been retracted without any explanation or follow-up from the school. I was left feeling confused, frustrated, and disappointed. Update: It wasn't until Tuesday that the IT desk sent out an apology email on behalf of the school, admitting that the initial message had been a mistake. While I understand that errors can happen, I couldn't help but feel a sense of frustration at the delayed response when the email was silently retracted on Monday. In my opinion, the school should have been more prompt in rectifying the situation. It would have been preferable for them to acknowledge the mistake and type up an email on Monday itself. I recognize that organizations face various challenges in their communication processes, and there may have been valid reasons for the delay. However, as a student, I believe that timely and effective communication is crucial. It helps to establish trust and ensures that students receive accurate and up-to-date information. I remain hopeful that the school (and not the IT desk) will learn from this incident and improve their communication practices in the future."
