The P.a D.D.S. Apartments at 164 1304 Blackhawk Trail, Waukesha, WI 53186

"I loved living here - the units are spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. It was wonderful having my own washer and dryer, dishwasher, and a power assisted toilet. The shower stall in my unit was also huge! However, there were a couple things I feel I should share about my experience that brought my otherwise 5 star rating down to 3 - one, being on the first level and right in front of a swamp, the bugs are horrendous. I had a horrible millipede problem the summer of 2021, found centipedes in my closets and behind my TV when I moved out, and had ants as well. Second, this place is really good about getting money out of you. I terminated my lease early due to financial reasons. I was informed, (ONLY informed,) that there would be a termination fee, which I paid. I come to find after I had moved out of my unit that I apparently would owe rent on the unit until it was re-rented. I was not only charged an entire month of rent when I was no longer even living there, but a late fee as well. Very upsetting. Overall, make sure you are more than comfortable financially, and get an upper unit to make your experience 5 star worthy here."

"Very nice place. The PADDS apartments are especially quite. Management is very responsive. We have lived here for 4 years. Added 8/18: Don’t expect to get your full deposit back. We moved out and cleaned the unit. We asked the manager to inspect the apartment and let us know if anything needed cleaning so we would tot be charged (we paid a professional cleaning service for a move-out cleaning). He told us a couple of things that still needed cleaning. We took care of it but we were charged a cleaning fee for things that were not mentioned after he inspected it."

"Overall nice units at a good value. The park in the back is great to have but you are reminded of the city by the traffic on 164. Repairs were done quickly, however there continued to be mice running in the ceiling. Move out related cleaning expenses seemed excessive given the general care and condition upon vacating."

"The best rental experience I've encountered in years! Onsite maintenance, on spot repairs or replacement. Pride is taken by all involved. Well worth the money spent."
