"Hi my name is Elizabeth It's been a &waiting for a year now. Since the last time I spoke to someone from your office, and the operators were very nice and polite. RiverBluff Townhomes it seem like a very nice place to live. I want to know is this property a Low income housing and do your company except section 8 voucher plus a second income. I visited the Wisconsin Fair Housing Law & Complaint Process. Someone there explained to me and asked me did I feel that I was being discriminated. They said refusing to rent or negotiate with Someone for the rental or sale of a dwelling or because of racial or nationality. I refuse to believe that. Thank you sincerely EB"
"MGMT PLEASE ANSWERI'm so confused, so they are accepting those who are low income or they aren't? Bc I was given the name of these places recently when looking for a new home for my son and I and I'm low income..?? Management can you please answer!!"
"These apartments indeed are not what they appear. Their criteria is that you must make 2.5x the amount of rent to get in. All other low-income rentals charge a certain percentage of what you make. I've been on disability for 2yrs., worked my whole life, and I was told I don't make enough to live there. On top of that, my daughter will be going to college and I want to take some online courses so I can get another job that can work physically, for which I was told point blank that we can't live there if we're both attending school, even though my classes will be online only. I'm 60 years old and disabled, not some 20-something looking for a place to have frat parties. Ridiculous. Seemed the gentleman I talked to on the phone was fishing for any reason not to allow me to apply."
"Jordan that is not something that they control. this is something that is set in place no management company would choose to turn someone away for making too much. But if they chose to let you live there then they would have to pay over $100,000 in fees and costs. This is just the way the ball rolled but this does not review the property at all or the way it is managed."
"These apartments are not what they appear. They are actually government subsidized. I got turned away for making triple the maximum salary to live here..."
