"Peter Rasla was unprofessional, rude, and dismissive from the first few seconds of my phone call with him. He couldn't even conduct himself to engage in answering how he was doing, going directly to "What do you want?" He became argumentative within minutes of me discussing what brought me to seek legal services. He told me to only answer the questions he asks, not to give him any other information, and made assumptions about my intentions for the consultation phone and how I was approaching the conversation. Without hearing the reasons behind for my concerns, he told me he's positive my concerns are just "coincidence," without discovering if what evidence I had about these concerns and refused to acknowledge part of my reaching out for legal assistance is to investigate these concerns. He interrupted me frequently, telling me that I wasn't answering his questions directly enough even though I had only stated a few words, and informed me when he was asking a yes or no question, letting me know that was all I was allowed to answer. When I became sharp with him due to his rude behavior, he berated me for being "emotional," saying that was the problem in my case, not any of the details of the case that he only would make the time to hear in short sentences, and exhibited his mysogynistic beliefs by focusing on my emotions as being the problem, condescendingly informing me how emotions cause problems and get in the way. I'm sure he wouldn't have had the same type of conversation with a man. The only way he got off that topic was when I informed him I'm a therapist and specialize in emotions, so I didn't need a lesson about emotions coming from him. He closed the call by stating, "How am I getting paid?," with a sharp tone of voice demonstrating his bitterness, condescension, judgment, and lack of empathy. This was the rudest I have ever been treated by an attorney. He needs to learn to remove himself from his bias and stop making rash decisions based on his own assumptions. He was verbally abusive and dismissive, projecting his own behavior onto me, including projecting his motive of getting money onto me, as he can't take responsibility for himself."
