"My 1 star isn't rated on their schooling but rather on the hiring management. I applied there for a job as a custodian they tell me I'm hired , so after I tell my boss I'm turning in my two weeks because I got hired at SJVC .I was supposed to start Feb 19 so I email Sawyer the 16th to see what the dress code is and he tells me didn't I get the email? He said I didn't get the job because of background I never got a email but in all reality it wasnt my background it was my credit my FN credit what does my credit have to do with my job performance . This place is the most unprofessional place I ever experienced,there's this thing called a phone and you call someone to let them know they didn't get the job and not wait till it's time for them to show up to tell them !!!!! I couldn't get hired at this lil school but yet I just got hired at a university , Imagine if I didn't get to keep my original job you can't play with people's lively hoods like this !"

"Stay away from this school. All they want is your money which is a lot and their certifications aren't valid anywhere. You won't be able to find a job and they won't help you at all. Beware of this scamming school"

"Excellent teachers/instructors. Extremely knowledgeable and relatable. The ability to work with instructors that have experience makes the experience 10 times better. Every instructor is different, but informative, educational, and always completely supportive. Lacey, Renee and Aubrey in my book are 10 out of 10. I have had the best experience with SJVC and would recommend them to my family and friends for the best education and personal experience."

"The teachers were great and my daughter had straight A's, earned academic excellence, Dean's list and graduated with honors. But when she was having trouble with the place of her externship they did very little to help her fix the issue. Basically told her to deal with it instead of helping her find a new place where she could be successful. When I attempted to speak with the Dean about possible solutions I was told she couldn't talk to me about a student. Funny, they had no problem talking to me to get that tuition money."

"Great School, lots of support. The instructor care about the students comprehension of the material. The courses are structured to really coincide with one another. It’s especially reassuring the RN bridge program is offered after completing the LVN program. The preparation for NCLEX and NCLEX style practice problems are reiterated through out the exams. The preparation for the licensing exam is reassuring."
