"I was at a conference in Ventura (March 2022) and organized a group lesson for ten of us. Evan was great with helping to organize and flexible on numbers and timing. For example some of us with experience just wanted to rent the board and wetsuit but no lesson and he gave us a disocunted rate. Eric and the other instructors were great. Most of us had no experience so they gave us a short lesson on the beach then helped us practice in the water. They would stand in the water and position us properly, then tell us which wave is best to try to stand up on. It wasn't easy but most of us got up once or twice. I thought 90 minutes would be too short but surfing is so tiring it is the perfect amount of time. I certainly recommend Ventura Surf School and if I am in the area again will book another lesson."
