"Trees were and easily pickable by people of all heights. Payment is an on your honor system, with a scale and pay box on sight. Cost is $2.50 per pound, which is very reasonable, considering Gizditch farm is $5/pound. We came mid September and only 2 kinds of apples were confirmed ripe, about 4 other kinds were “some ripe”, the rest (about another 4 kinds) were “not ripe”. Overall, great experience, great variety in apples, easy to pick, and economically priced! Definitely look forward to coming back here next year!"

"A small but closer farm (from South Bay) for U Pick. Close to beach, Sabra Cruz and Big Bason state park, so it’s good for planning a family day trip. There are several kinds of apples in this orchard, annually open for picking starting from September around Labor Day. All trees are short and easy to pick so there are many families visiting with toddlers. Just want to remind parents or anyone plan to visit: go early to ensure you get some good apples; bring cash or check to pay; bring bug spray, especially for your little one - so many big black bugs (some kind of mosquito?) flying around this orchard and they love attacking baby’s face!"

"We have came to this place three years for apple picking. We had wonderful time! The variety of apples is great, the area is nice and well maintained. There is no farmers around, you pick, weight and pay on your own. Great experience for kids."
