"I'm crazy about your products"

"I want to love Catch Surf, I really do. I love what they're doing to make surfing fun and do away with the snobbery and cork sniffers who look down on soft top surfboards. And I love their product for the most part, they surf well, they're fun, and they're approachable by every level. My beef is the quality control. I'm on my fourth one and unfortunately it will be the last. I've spent around $1700 US on four boards in the past five years and I have one board left to show for it. Every one had problems from day one and it all has to do with the laminate top they have on their boards: it's peeled, ripped, separated from the foam, worn away where the leash attaches (leash rash), and eventually became so water logged that they eventually snapped. And I don't abuse them - kept inside, never left out in the sun, rinsed after every use, etc. The problem is, they're just not built to last. It wouldn't be a problem if they were $250 boards but they're asking $400 to $500. Just not worth it anymore. Especially, since there are other companies out there making similar boards at a fraction of the cost that actually last a full season or more."
