"Moved in 2022 with no problems at all Shelby made the process easy and made me and my kids feel welcomed. Things was getting fixed right away never had problems with my neighbors or the property. Then a new manager took over It was hell from there start noticing gas bills in their name for my unit when it was in my name me and the manager talked about this numerous times on the phone with Minnesota energy Numerous times to figure out why this keep happening then on top of that I was noticing late fees added on after my rent was already paid things taking over 30 days to get fixed every time I went into the office respectfully and brought these issues up I was told to leave So in November 2023 the same thing happened So I went into the office And I already knew to record so I can have proof I got the runaround once again, why the gas bill was added to my Rent And the new manager told me to leave at this point I refused, and I did tell her that to me her and this company Is scamming people and you cannot charge fees on stuff that was already paid That is illegal and you guys are money hungry on the top that it was a $50 fee for the gas bill they got I called the police. The first cop came, and all he wanted Was run my name, so nope, send me another cop. Another cop came and he was very helpful. Gave me numbers and resources after I explained And showed him why I’m so upset and I let corporate Office know pacifically Jake what was going on And I was planning on moving next thing you know I was served eviction papers lol I was kind of happy because I was ready to go anyway because it been nothing but problems since Devon Took over So the courts gave me 30 days to leave without paying any type of Of any kind of fees but Homestead still found ways to take my security deposit for court fees Plus remind you my whole year and a half I never got a leaves violation never had parties I kept to myself, was very respectful. This lady took it upon her self to Tell Stpaul public housing that I was a bad tenant, and a threat to my neighbors, which is very funny because I have all their numbers got along very well I reached out to Jake to tell him about my security deposit and told him it was discrimination and retaliation and response I get was unbelievable what hurts me the most is what this lady told Stpaul Public housing which is false that mean She falsified the documents when she filled them and lie on the Paperwork because she have no record of a lease valid No record of no tenants complaining about me No record of me damaging No record of me being a threat to no But her because me and her had problems She was able to call me a racist name soon as I say something racist back I was evicted She thought that she was going to hurt my kids Christmas And hurt me She thought I was a single black mom of three kids didn’t know I had a team behind me DONT MOVE HERE IF YOU KEEP EVERY PAPERWORK AND RECORD EVERYTHING"

"I went for the 4th. I still have family there but far as anything else I feel they are some alright app.But for me I wouldn't stay there"

"My unit 875 f was haunted We lived on the end unit and the lady next door was never home then ended up moving out so we basically had “no neighbors” we could hear all kinds of things like balls bouncing upstairs and our names being called, things falling and knocking on the walls/ doors at 3 or 4 am and no one at the door even foot steps walking on the stairs, native American drums beating and I’ve seen shadow figures walk past door ways and a white child like figure peek around corners .. we’ve even had an incident with my at the time 2 month old son (that couldn’t even roll over yet let alone sit up) he was on the floor face down under his swing with in a split second of us looking at him and him being right across from us in the living room we heard NOTHING absolutely no noise from his direction just him starting to fuss cuz he was on the floor face down.. NO he did not fall because we would have seen / heard him fall like I said he was right across from us asleep in his baby swing i was on my laptop and my fiancé watching tv this was at 5 am we believe something spooky is there maybe even a Demon about 5 minutes after the incident I took a photo with flash and saw a very disturbing image in the photo. I won’t go back there we moved out two years ago and have not experienced any activity or anything like we did there since!! If you have lived there and experienced anything like we did please send me an email."

"Great new management. The townhomes are spacious with a washer dryer. I like the new management. They have turned the place around. Great location easy to get to Mayo Clinic. It's easy to apply for section 42. I don't think most people know what a great program it is. Apply once and come under the income guidelines. Management makes it easy to apply and a fast move-in."

"The rent is high, the neighbors congregate in the parking stalls and drink and smoke weed. The deposit is the same as monthly rent, and when you move out they charge for everything they replace. My $600 security deposit was not refunded and I was charged an additional $350 with no damages to the apartment. You should look elsewhere. You are warned."
