"Absolutely FILTHY hallways with DISGUSTING, stained, putrid smelling carpet and elevator floor. Anyone living here should be ashamed of themselves for not demanding a sanitary hallway/entrance to their home. Slumlords get away with precisely what you allow them to get away with, whether legal or blatantly insulting, lazy, unethical, etc."

"I wanted to express that my family and I have proudly called The Meadows our home for nearly seven years now. Throughout this time, we have consistently felt welcomed and secure in our living environment, despite the challenges of transitioning through various property management changes. However, I must say that since Tammy assumed the role of manager, we have witnessed a remarkable improvement in the management of these apartments. The cleanliness and organization are top-notch, and our privacy is respected. Moreover, every resident is treated with equal measures of respect and dignity. I want to commend Velair Property for their excellent choice in hiring such exceptional staff members who genuinely care for our home. May we all be blessed."

"Do not move to this place, Management is the worst it’s been, very rude, discriminatory behavior here. The place is filthy, amenities can’t even be used . Washer and dryer have been broken over 3 months . Maintenance is mostly not available for weeks and the snow doesn’t get cleared for months after it falls. They are hungry for money and nothing else matters. They will pressure you to sign a lease months in advance. Please please find somewhere your dignified!"

"DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Lived here over 5 years, and the management has changed a lot, but they have all been terrible. The current manager (as of 2022) is the worst one yet.. I really don't know where they find these people. The plantation owner comment is spot on. They do not make the repairs they're legally obligated to make, had no sense of sympathy in the middle of a pandemic, and go out of their way to invade tenants privacy. Furthermore, she takes advantage of the fact that many residents here do not speak english as a first language and pressures people into signing paperwork they do not want to sign. She is a greedy, grubby, money-hungry, soul-less woman. I can't say enough terrible things. Everyday I pray for new management, but I fear salvation will never come, and we will forever be forced to live under the thumb of massa."

"Lora the manager has been trained to or chooses to manage like a plantation owner. If you are a person of color you will be treated like a person of color. Very few white folks there but they are very nice people mostly older or sick but without even knowing they get treated better. The apartments are nice for the substidy price but it's generally filthy and you will be managed with no respect or appreciation that your paying for the plantations mortgage. Average wait time to get something fixed two months for a person of color"
