"READ THIS WHOLE THING IF YOU ARE THINKING OF ATTENDING THIS SCHOOL OR, THINKING OF SENDING YOUR CHILDREN HERE! I went to this school TWICE! Yes, twice and, let me just say, both time we're very a very unhappy experience. The first time I went here it was for one solid week, I was already getting bullied, had already gotten a threat and, had already made an enemy. I left and, was down to give it a try one more time since, it was in a conveniently location. I threw up from the food at least twice, I walked into several fights week, sometimes every day, on the way to lunch or, in between classes. I am strictly about NO violence and, have never gotten in a fight and, was getting threats by my BESTFRIEND and, her friend group. It made me feel unsafe and, got to the point where I had to tell my mother and, on the way driving to school I told her and, after that I never went back to that school and, am currently in independent study and, love it. I am a good student. I have always gotten straight A's. This school is the worst experience I've ever had at a school. Who would have thought a school in a tiny town Redwood Valley be bad? Well, the math teacher knows absolutely nothing, Mr.Chao I wish, you the best but, maybe being a math teacher isn't your thing. I had to be put in another class because, I wasn't learning anything. That happened after my Mother had to come in and, yell at the principle. I'm not normally a hater but, this school was NOT a good experience. The kids in leadership, yes the smartest kids in the school were dancing on the table and, in math class the voices got so loud I would be forced to bring ear plugs or, blast loud music in my headphones, then I got a referral for having in headphones, when the rest of the class looked like a jungle with ferocious animals. Throwing chairs and, paper airplanes. I'm not joking, I have never seen anything more out of control in my life. I knew I had to tell somebody because, it was starting to feel like an unsafe environment and, none of the most intelligent students would speak up. I walked right up to the principle and, told her and, she was iggnorant. I then made it my mission to get this teacher fired if it was the last thing I did. (Not really I'm being a little bit dramatic but, at the moment that was my exact thought.) I then the next day waited until the, loudest point of the class and, took a video. In the video, there is screams and, the leader of leadership standing on a table. No joke. The next day, I showed it to the principle and, she got upset with me for having my phone out. The next day she was teaching the class as Mr.Chao was taking notes along side. Everyone was silent. For two weeks she taught and, no one talked. When she thought she had taught her lesson she left and, the class went back to normal. My mom had to come in and, have an argument with the oblivious principle just, so I could learn some darn algebra one. Too bad, it was easier to teach myself 7th grade math, then having an out of control teacher try to teach 28 monkeys. Also, what's the best part of the middle school experience for most? Dances, extracurricular and, sports! Am I right! Well, sorry to break it to you but, the dances are, kinda just a bunch of trash on the ground in the cafeteria and, an old guy trying to be relevant with his playlist options. I cried twice when, my date ditched me to be with another girl and, ended up going home. There are no extracurricular acitivities. NO ART. NO DRAMA. NO MUSIC PROGRAM. NADA! Just S.T.E.M, which literally means, science, technology, engineering and, math which, is not an extracurricular. Also, it was the most pointless class I have ever taken and, wasted so much valuable time in that class. This school does not live up to its high reputation. Let me say though, there are teachers who care but, unfortunately my favorite teacher had to go on maternity leave. Not only do, the dances such and, there are no fun classes but, the sports are SUPER BIAS! To be continued..."
