"I lived in the Berkshire Village apartments for five years. Had a garage which was super handy in the winter. I was always happy with my apartment. Over the five years, I think I had 5 or 6 maintenance requests and they were all fixed that same day! Both Ken, on-site maintenance, and Michelle, the office manager, are really nice! Not the newest apartments in Rochester and no in-unit washer and dryer but the apartments are nice, well kept, great location, and a great value! Can't say enough about the maintenance, location, or value. Great place to live! I wish all places I lived could exceed my expectations like this place did."

"I've lived in the Berkshire Village apartments for 7 years now and love it! Ken (maintenance) and Michelle (newer manager) are great!! The few times I've had maintenance problems, Ken was on it right away. It's in a great neighborhood, even with Hwy 52 on the other side of the sound wall. People are friendly and most are happy to get to know their neighbors, but if you want to be left alone, you are. Heat is paid but tenants pay a portion of the water/sewer and trash as well as their own electricity. Garages are extra with some having openers and some not. Parking in the parking lot is not assigned which can be a hassle at times, but as someone who likes to sit outside on my balcony and people watch, many have their preferred parking spots and stick to them as much as they can. The apartment complex is on/near 2 bus routes during the week and 1 weekend route. The weekday buses run from 5:30 am until 10 pm and at least one of the bus routes goes by every half hour during the day with the evening times hourly instead. The weekend bus goes by hourly. All in all, it's a great place to live and in a safe neighborhood!"
