"Just received the custom table base we ordered and it's exactly what we were hoping for. We had a very old and damaged heirloom table from grandparents that had a perfectly good (and interesting) marble top. We were hoping to repurpose the marble top into a coffee table and found Custom Cottage. We sent them a photo of our idea for the base, along with a photo of the top and its dimensions and next thing you know... awesome custom coffee table. "We’re thrilled with this piece by Custom Cottage. We needed something very specific to put the final touch on a kitchen remodel. We knew the exact measurements and features we wanted but couldn’t find anything like it anywhere—and even when we found something that might suffice, it would be either poor quality or absurdly expensive. After months of looking for the right thing, just before I’d about given up, I found Custom Cottage. Michael and Amanda were incredibly kind and helpful. They sketched up what I wanted, made my requested revisions (including painting the piece to match our new cabinet colors and using the same handles) and got our piece into their production queue. It took some time to receive it, but they were completely up-front about the timeline from the start. Let me be clear about what this is and what this is not. It is not some super slick, Crate & Barrel or Pottery Barn thing. It’s more like a beautifully refinished piece of heirloom furniture…except it’s brand new! It is heavy and sturdy as can be. It wasn’t cheap, but it was significantly cheaper than what we’d have spent on something at one of those higher end stores—and, most importantly, it is *exactly* what we wanted in terms of size, color, and functionality. So I would highly recommend Custom Cottage for anything, but especially for that very particular spot you’ve been trying to fill in your home and/or for those very functional pieces you need (desk, bookshelf, kitchen island) where the retail options seem to be a) spend way too much money or b) get some particle board piece of junk."
