Singing Waters Guest House

"This is our second time staying at Singing Waters. The location allows access to both Duluth and the north shore, and the grounds are wonderful. Our children love the river, trails, and the scavenger hunt here at Singing Waters. The guest house is very nice, fits our family well, and we look forward to another visit."

"We spent 4 great days at this awesome property in mid July. So many things to like, it’s hard to know where to start. I’ll start with the location, which is an easy drive that’s between Duluth and Two Harbors. The guest house is located off the main roads in an area that is very peaceful and very quiet. The only sounds you hear are the sounds of nature (the wind through the trees, birds chirping, water flowing in the nearby river.) The air is especially clean, and the smell of the woods was fresh and amazing when we hiked the many trails on the property. We had so much fun and it was SO relaxing that we’d love to return and I would highly recommend Singing Waters Guest house to anyone wanting to get back to nature and experience a unique and stress free vacation. We swam in a part of the river that is used on the property as a very private swimming hole that was so refreshing and soothing. We hiked on the many trails throughout the property on a fun scavenger hunt. We enjoyed the board games and the fun yard games. We relaxed in the bug free screen porch and made smores by the bon fire every night. The Guest house was so clean, had all the amenities we needed and was just so homey and comfortable. Stacey and Shellie are such great hosts that you instantly feel welcomed. Our entire trip to Singing waters Guest House was everything we wanted in a relaxed- away from the crowds- away from the noise vacation that was very fun. "If you are reading this review, and don't book, you are missing out on a true once in a lifetime experience. I know that sounds overly dramatic, but this really is awesome and unique in so many ways. The accommodations were top notch: clean, comfortable and home like feeling. The grounds were beautiful: multi-tier waterfall and stream in the back yard, acres of walking trails through the woods, great camp fire area with comfortable loungers. Surprisingly kid-friendly: lots of little kid friendly touches I don't want to spoil, but the Hosts went as far as to make a scavenger hunt throughout the grounds with a reward for the kids at the end. Overall, WAY better than we expected."

"We were lucky enough to book Singing Waters Guest House over Grandma's Marathon weekend for a second time. It was a shame the weather didn't cooperate so the lovely outside features could not be utilized. However, staff were enjoyable and the stay there was still fun!"

"This place stole my heart the moment we arrived. The guest house is bright and funky- had everything we needed. The grounds (almost 20 acres!) are insanely amazing! My two boys had a blast exploring it all. Wooded trails, rocky waterfall to climb, swimming hole, pond with path around, hammock by the river, cabana by the falls, frogs and crickets to sing you to sleep. You couldn't dream up something better if you tried. Add in the incredible hosts and it was hard to remember why we had to leave at the end (oh yes- we don't actually live here!) We will most definitely be back!!"
