"I'll give it 4 stars because it looks like a great place...through the windows. Was supposed to be open till 11pm but we got there shortly after it closed at 4:30 today. You may want to call ahead if you're counting on it being open (posting in Oct.)"

"A very homey nature center with a lot of interesting displays as well as a gift shop and theatre. There is also a beautiful deck on the south side looking out into a dense forest above the St. Croix River Valley. An amazing state park in general, worth a visit!"

"Friendly place with education in the geology and wildlife in area. Had a kid scavenger hunt of learning exhibits. Small gift shop with drinks, but no snack bar."

"Friendly, knowledgeable (and volunteer) staff are there to answer any questions about the Park. The gift shop has many souvenirs, including "Crack open your own Geode"! Very well maintained trails and places to explore"
