"My experience at Aurora Sports Health was beyond helpful! RD & McKenna we’re incredibly supportive and knowledgeable (I couldn’t ask a question they didn’t have an answer to!), and I know I will benefit from their expertise for the rest of my life. Thank you so much! And the ladies at the front desk were wonderful, too! Always cheerful and attentive."
"This was my go to PT for almost 20 years. After my recent hip replacement I chose this clinic again. My treatment was horrible. The care plans are generic and inappropriate. Three different therapists didn’t listen to me when I told them I was going backwards. They have no idea what soft tissue work should be, failing to apply significant pressure. After going to a different clinic where the therapists are competent, I see how inept this place is. My recovery was set back four weeks by these people. Stay away."
"I have been through rehab here after both of my knee replacements. These people are professional and friendly and genuinely care about my success. I would recommend Aurora Sports Health to anyone!"
"Super friendly staff and very helpful!"
"Shady billing practice. Be sure to discuss with your doctor the services you'll be receiving, especially if you are going in for a "consultation." If you are looking to get a consultation, specify that you want just a consultation, otherwise they will tack on additional services and charges for services YOU DID NOT REQUEST. After receiving an invoice from my insurance, I inquired about the two "upper and lower back exercises" I was billed for. I was told by the billing department and physical therapist that for consultations "it is assumed that the patient will also want treatment and therefore will receive treatment at the consultation." How can you assume so before the patient reviews and agrees to the treatment?? In my case, why did they assume I wanted to be treated before I knew what the treatment would entail? I was charged almost $400.00 after application of insurance to be asked questions about my knee and then shown two exercises. And the "treatment plan" was 12 more visits.... are they crazy? I am receiving care elsewhere where they are transparent, and let me know the cost of each visit/treatment. At Aurora, I was told they did not know how much they would charge me. I get it depends on insurance. But if it you are unsure about how much the patient is being billed, shouldn't you be more transparent about WHAT they will be billed for? Absolute trash, predatory system. Doesn't help that I was used as practice for an intern. The city is littered with professional physical therapists operating smaller business and offering more attentive, honest care. Go elsewhere."
