"Do not click on anything in this website or give them any information. You would be better served and get fewer phone calls by giving your phone number to every spam e-mail you received in the last month. If you want 5+ spam calls a day for the next several weeks, by all means leave some information."
"So I applied with LendingTree which the loan I was giving is now Helix? Felix? The only good thing about this company was it was easy to do and it was pretty fast. The bad thing about this company the APR way too high. I took a $500 loan and the APR is $1200. Insane! Only reason why I was so ineed of money was at the moment due to COVID I had no job & EDD wasn't paying me enough. I had to get things for my 2 year old. This is stealing to me. Especially in a Pandemic! The APR should've been more less than that ."
"LendingTree will run your credit and get you to apply for a loan under the guise of “checking rates”. After that, you will be spammed by many different lenders that all have your personal info asking to finish your application with them. Beware."
"Bad experience, here is why: When I clicked on the Lending Tree advertisement, I just wanted to know what interest rate I could possibly expect. I hated the entire experience that followed, i.e. being lured into giving away a lot of personal information including birth date and phone number. The Lending Tree advertisement had displayed a very low interest rate(2.53%) which made me think, OK, let's give it a try. I expected to receive an immediate answer to how low of a rate I could possibly get after I gave away some basic information including my range of salary, credit score and loan amount. But following my initial data giveaway, I did not get immediate information. Instead I started receiving annoying phone calls starting at 5 am on Friday and Saturday. I did not want to get into long phone conversations, especially not at unexpected times, and I did not want to give away even more information and having individual companies pull my credit info. This should not be required to get the information I wanted. Furthermore, the lenders featured at Lending Tree had a lot of negative online reviews, some of them describing in detail how customers wasted personal time and money with those lenders, to be told in the end they don't qualify for a loan. This is another reason why I did not pick up any phone calls and why I will not deal with Lending Tree in the future."
"Do not even click to inquire about rates. Dont be tempted or fooled. You get immediately sold to every finance company and the spam flows in. 25 a day minimum between sales calls and emails. No way to stop it. Block them 1 number at a time and send all to spam. But clearly the roach finance companies know this so its a new number every call. Just go to a local reputable bank or loan professional."
