Reviews
"The carlsbad Golf Center is now featuring Friday night food truck. Tastey eats after your training."
"One of the most relaxing and casual driving ranges I've ever been too, the staff is very friendly"
"I was just there on Monday Jan 8th (not a holiday) at 1:30 pm to hit balls and they had 15 of their spaces reserved for lessons?? How many instructors do you have? People were waiting for spots to hit for the range who came as pairs."
"Great place. Mats in great shape. Always open stall. Get a card, put money on it, the more you deposit, the more they give you credit for. Like $450 gives you $600 on credit. Maybe $400 gives you $500? Something like that. Then you use the card to pay for buckets of balls. But added bonus is if you go during the week during certain happy hour times on buckets, they'll give you like a 25% discount on the bucket price as well so if you load up your card and go during happy hour you're basically playing for free! Haha! Update: Absolutely love this place. Reigns card bonus pricing: The range has a range card where I think if you put like $400 on it it gives you another 40% of credit. So if you get the card and put $400 on it you end up with $560 worth of credit. That's pretty good by itself but then, the range has three happy hour days every week where for 2 hours they give you 25% off the cost. That math is a little bit complicated for me but it sounds like if you come during the happy hours and you maximize the extra credits given then you're getting balls at about half off the normal price. Okay did some quick math, if you maximize the credit by depositing $400 on the card, you get $560 worth of credit and a large bucket of balls {105 balls} on happy hour cost $10.50 so that's 53 and some change buckets of balls. Large bucket of balls non HH price is $14, so it would cost you $746 to get the same amount of balls if you come at normal times without any kind of range card credit. So by depositing the $400 you get 87% bonus if you come during range card happy hours. If you cannot make happy hour times, then using your maximum credit on the range card will get you about 12 more large buckets (+44%) of balls for the same money. Pretty freakin sweet!"
"Decent practice facility, but not ideal. The cons are hitting off of mats vs. grass, the hill that you hit into for longer shots, the relatively small green for putting, and little to no room for chipping practice. The pros are it's convenience as far as location, it looks like they have some good instructional pros for lessons, and there is a golf shop on site that can fit clubs. Overall it's worth a visit if you are close, but I would prefer a practice facility that had some more space and natural turf. Good luck...right??"
