"I've felt a huge and mega-positive effect following the TFT Bike Fit with Ashley. The transformation in comfort, smooth pedaling, and energy efficiency has been truly immense. No more numbness in hands and neck. Long distances became more comfortable and productive. Ashley provides an individual approach and shares invaluable knowledge from the rider's position on a bike to some barely visible details that have an incredible impact on the ride experience. Ashley has extensive knowledge of cycling and anatomy. This was not just a bike fit; it was a genuine Lab experience. Every measurement, recommended change by priority, and exercise were provided in Ashley's personalized Bike Fit Report. Grateful for the incredible insights and expertise!"
"Ashley has extensive knowledge of cycling and anatomy. As a Physical Therapist I was thoroughly impressed by the extent of his knowledge of biomechanics and anatomy and had not had an experience like this with other bike fitters in the past. Not only did some of the aches and pains I was dealing with resolve but I have never felt more connected to my bike. From setting up my cleats with wedges to recommending different components for my bike, everything exceeded my expectations. Shortly after getting my bike fit I bought a new bike and he was able to not only set it up quickly, but make some adjustments to the drive train as well. I would highly recommend anyone with aches and pains start with a bike fit. If you are new to cycling or haven’t had a bike fit in a while, it would greatly benefit you."
"I went here about a year ago and can now say this was the best biking related decision I've made, I just wish I would've gone sooner. I have been an avid cyclist since about 2010, and as much as l have loved cycling I always had soreness issues, mainly in my right knee and of course the saddle soreness after long enough rides, that is of course until Ashley fitted me properly. I had gotten a couple bike fits in the past by other fitters and they were okay, nothing to brag about, but Ashley was very comprehensive in his approach and incredibly knowledgeable to all the different points he would adjust. I had a bunch of questions throughout the process and he didn't hesitate to give me a great answer to all of them. He even identified how one of my legs were longer than the other and hence had some shims installed on my cleats, which he also fitted, to make sure every last detail was really taken care of. Also I should mention I brought 3 of my bikes and he patiently fitted all of them and gave me a really good deal, honestly was much more affordable that I initially thought, I even had enough to spare for some saddle upgrades. On that note, he also did have me try a bunch of different saddles. I initially thought that I wouldn't need a new one since I was fine with that I was using, but wouldn't you know after trying 3-4 different saddles, the last one I tried was like magic. It was like when Cinderella put on the glass shoe and I knew instantly that I would be a much happier rider with that new saddle, so I pulled the trigger and bought. And now after 3000 miles and just completing the Aids Lifecycle ride (7 day 545 mile ride from San Francisco to Santa Monica) I can happily say I have no soreness! (Outside of the normal soreness from my muscles of course, glutes, quads, calfs, etc) My old abnormal soreness, like the knee issues and saddle soreness are gone! I'm just a happier rider now and can now do 100+ mile rides with no detriment to my body's health/wellbeing. This is honestly the best "upgrade" anyone can do, before getting those new wheels, or new drivetrain, or whatever it is, do this first. It will help you avoid injuries and concentrate on just enjoying yourself on that bike(s). He is hands down the best fitter in the LA/OC area."
"Ashley brings a lot of experience to the table. His knowledge of body mechanics coupled with his thoroughness in addressing my issues built trust and confidence in his fit assessment. Beyond the fit session, Ashley wrote me a follow up report and some personal recommendations based on things we discussed. Truly happy to have found Force Training. If you desire someone with a computer program telling what your fit should be, then please go elsewhere. Here you get individual attention by someone extremely knowledgeable and experienced in cycling."
"Great place to go for a bike fit. Ashley is extremely knowledgeable not only about bike fitting, training and racing but also about your physiology and any discrepancies your body may have. Because we are not perfectly symmetrical. I would go for his X -Y fit where he puts you on the Purely Custom fit bike to get your optimal bike fit and then transfers that to your actual bike by making the necessary adjustments. He is very thorough and the fit will take any 3 hours."
