"I came today and it was a holiday so they closed early at 6. I was already inside the store shopping when I asked Mia for another shoe size. She said she was not pulling anymore shoes out for me. I was upset because the shoes I requested I wanted to buy but just wanted to try on. I was very upset but another girl came to save the day. Your guys customer service is what this store needs to work on. I over heard a lot of customers complain they couldn’t try on a shoe size. Amy was nice enough to listen but didn’t bother to care about my complaint or unhappy customer service their employees bring to this store. Won’t bother to purchase here again."

"I already had my suspicions but now after reading some of these reviews on this recently opened location the short Asian girl manager is definitely leaking information. There’s no way that all of the same resellers are always first in line when they drop shoes. I was so excited that a JD opened up at south coast being a sneaker enthusiast myself, but it’s sad to know that this company employs resellers. After confirming that she is in fact tipping people off I won’t be shopping here. I don’t recommend anyone coming here if you want a fair shot at releases."

"I want to start off by saying this place is absolutely amazing. They have a wide variety of shoes, apparel, & the store looks very appealing inside & out. The staff here are fantastic. I’m always greeted at the entrance, asked if I need help, quick, & super friendly. Staff have been doing their absolute best since grand opening & my shopping experience here has been outstanding every time I come in. I’m very happy that South Coast Plaza has a JD now. I look forward to shop here for my shoe & apparel needs."

"this store was great, workers were very helpful & insightful on shoes that are in trend. Cashier joel was patient and had a good attitude. However customers are very rude and rowdy, I was in line and overheard a customer calling what looked like a manager a b**** , store definitely needs security on standby at all times. the popularity of shoes has grown at a crazy rate causing people to be irrational!"

"I went to this location with my mom to pick out some new shoes for her. The workers were giving her so much attitude for trying on more than one shoe. English isn't her first language and she also has quite a strong accent. The manage herself felt the need to come up to us and ask if we needed anything, I declined politely and she roller her eyes at me while she walked away. I could hear them standing to the side making little remarks and laughing like children. Do not recommend coming to this location, literally drive anywhere else."
