Blue Oak Creative Schoolhouse

Blue Oak Creative Schoolhouse is a school located at 1501 17th Street in Santa Monica, California, United States. Our educators are dedicated to observing, listening to, and understanding our students in order to support their social development, spark their curiosity, and foster a love of learning.

Our diverse learning community reflects the surrounding community through our teachers and students. Our toddler groups provide parents with support, guidance, and a sense of community, while also introducing children to group socialization in a school setting.

Our modified kindergarten curriculum builds upon our preschool curriculum and is tailored to meet the needs of our oldest students. We draw inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach, as championed by founder Loris Malaguzzi.
