"Schedule an appointment for a Monday @ 1pm. The staff was friendly, but I was very disappointed when I got a quote for a hefty price of $3000 for their services. I had handed over my 2022 tax return to the gentleman and he want back and forth with another worker there at the office. He came back and said that I also needed their bookkeeping services. Which is the reason they quoted so high. I told him that I had used a the bookkeeper once and I only pay $600 and that I thought $3000 was extremely high. I didn't understand their prices nor why I needed bookkeeping when I never needed that in my prior years of doing my Taxes. I kindly grabbed my tax return forms and thanked him and left their establishment. I went to my next appointment at a different location with Chahal & Associates in Hercules. The lady there greeted me, grabbed my papers and she looked at my 2022 return forms and said, I needed to Schedule C tax and that it would be easy to prepare. She gave me two forms to take home and fill them out. It was a client information form and a Self-employed business expense sheet and told me it would be $599 for their services. That visit as short and fast."
