"Fabulous service. Amari went above and beyond in helping me. I had a complex set of things to manage and she was the best."
"I had an Amazon return in the original box it came in. The ups guy wouldn’t accept it - said he needs to repack it for $26. So I told him sell me the box, I’ll do it. He wanted to charge me $16 for the box and said I would have to repack it somewhere else. I’ve returned many Amazon packages of a variety of sizes (at different UPS locations) and was never told this nonsense. So I went to Whole Foods and dropped the package off for no charge."
"This used to be my go-to store for shipping, notary, printing, and etc. But recently it seems that they’ve hired a group of inexperienced staff members. The communication was horrific. Go the FedEx 5 min walking distance away by the SalesForce Transit Center instead. The staff there are smarter, friendlier, and much more professional!! The staff changed quote to ship my irregular package 4 times from $50+ to $230?!! And the staff, who were clueless on which package to use and the rates moments, tried to “give me a lecture” on why I needed to pay a more expensive box once I told them the value of the items. The items actually originally came from overseas and landed with 0 damage in much smaller packaging and cost MUCH LESS than the $230 they tried to charge. Such a huge waste of time trying to talk to the staff. I ended up going to the FedEx close by and saved so much money on the shipping!!"
"I required the services of a notary and reached out to the UPS store located at 182 Howard. To my delight, a warm and welcoming voice answered my call, inviting me to drop by. Upon arrival, Samir greeted me and efficiently tended to my needs with exceptional professionalism and amiability. I am grateful for his exceptional service and for valuing my business, even though it was a minor transaction."
"Like many others, I recycle my Amazon boxes and use them to send packages to family/friends. Since I'm not a UPS person or someone in the transportation or logistics industry, I have no idea there are marks on the boxes indicating certain 'hazards' or dangers. I went to this UPS store this evening to ship something and was told by one of their staff that I "cannot use the box". The person finally was able to articulate that my box has the "perfume" indicator and cannot be used. I assured the person there is no perfume in my box and I was only using the Amazon box. I even opened the box to show the content because I did not feel the person believed me since he was going on and on about perfume in the box... Following that, the person then pointed to these marks "ALL OVER the box" that indicated there was some hazard signs. Great. So I told the staff my goal was to ship out the package and I was happy to buy a box from the store. You would think a BUSINESS like UPS Store would think creatively and positively and try to solve a problem rather than CONTRIBUTE to it, and make things worse. No, they did not offer me a box to purchase. Instead, another person in the store who I assume to be the owner of the store then also talked to me in a negative way, "I'm not sure what you don't understand... ". The whole situation could have been turned into a win-win for both parties if I wasn't made to feel I was causing them trouble or bringing them danger instead of helping them make money by buying a box and shipping out my packages (yes, more than 1). I don't see how this is not a store that sucked. When I finally decided I wasn't going to let them have my business given what had transpired so far, I told them their store suck, out of exasperation at what I was being put through. The first staff then retaliated by saying that I suck too. So much for great service."
