Gault Elementary School

Gault Elementary School, located at 1320 Seabright Avenue in Santa Cruz, California, is a neighborhood public elementary school serving the Seabright and Midtown areas. We are currently enrolling students who will be turning 5 between September 2, 2024, and June 2, 2025. Our school offers a welcoming, play-based, exploratory, and social environment for young learners.

For students turning 5 by September 1, 2024, we provide a curriculum that includes reading and phonics, math, social studies, language arts, computer science, and a focus on developing a lifelong love of learning. Our dedicated teachers utilize a hands-on approach that allows for total differentiation, similar to Montessori-based schools.

At Gault Elementary, we believe in pushing our students to reach their highest potential of excellence. We offer a diverse curriculum and unique enrichment opportunities, along with a system of dynamic instruction that combines classroom work, small groups, and one-on-one attention.

Our school celebrates its history with events like the annual Halloween parade and Carnival, as well as a musical history project that involves every student. We also provide opportunities for students to explore the world around them, including field trips to the nearby redwood forests.
