"Staff is very helpful and laid back. Excited to help out advanced, and also novice surfers. Nice selection of all types of boards and gear. Stopped in looking for some simple fins for my softop and they sold me some for 1/3 the price of the other shops in town. Highly recommend this place for its quality and friendliness."

"I bought my first 'magic' board from Haut. A 7'3" twin fin. Omg. Surfed it till it delaminated. Un f'n real board. Had it replicated and though good was not magic. Also had many self shaped boards glassed by Waishe at this shop. Solid outfit, old school quality."

"Pure and one of the last Surfboard shops. All boards made in the shop except for Jim Phillips from down south and Renny YATER from Santa Barbara. No sandals, bikinis, car fresheners etc., just boards , wax, leashes, fins, hoodies, shirts and the best selection of long and short boards on the west coast."
