"I absolutely adore this hotel, and as a local, I've had the pleasure of staying here multiple times for various events, including weddings and multi-day business gatherings. It has become my top hotel recommendation for friends and family who are visiting Milwaukee, whether they're here to enjoy a sports event, attend a concert, or simply explore the city. The hotel's exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location make it the perfect choice for anyone looking to experience the best of Milwaukee. It's always my first suggestion for a memorable and enjoyable stay in the city."
"Fantastic Experience at the Iron Horse Hotel!! Came here for a weekend trip. Front desk staff (Julian) was extremely friendly and helpful. We decided to eat at the Ash which is inside the hotel. It did not disappoint! Chef Zack made some fantastic elk and Brandi was a extremely friendly and helpful in food choices. 10/10"
"We stayed at the Iron Horse for the Mama Tried Motorcycle Show. Our Team loved the Hotels uniquely Industrial-lux environment. Everything is high-quality right down to the bed linens. The lobby is like nothing I have ever seen with a beautiful American Flag that drapes the wall. Amazing woodwork and metal work throughout. We will be back!"
"We hosted a bridal shower here and decided to come through prior to our event to stay in the hotel. The hotel decor is fantastic, upscale, edgy, clean and staff that are so friendly, from our valet Aleks to the folks at the check in desk. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel which had an exceptional menu and everything we had was delicious. We had a massage at the hotel the next morning and then proceeded to have our bridal shower festivities the following day. I cannot commend Ann Marie, Emma and the staff there enough. They planned the event for us to a tee and were super communicative and responsive. I made a major mix up with our dates and put us down for the wrong date (completely my fault) and the team could not have been more responsive or accommodating. They completely flipped the event to the following day and did not even one time make me feel like it was a hardship even though I am positive it resulted in a lot of rework for them. Ann Marie and Emma both in particular were so wonderful in the communication, always positive and complete professionals who made this event remarkable. I could not be more grateful and could not recommend this location any more highly!! The hotel itself is beautiful, very well kept and clean and is dog friendly. I would absolutely come back to stay even not for a special event."
"I've been wanting to stay at the Iron Horse for years. I got the opportunity to spend my birthday weekend there. I was greeted by the door man and the front desk .The problem started with my first room, it was completely dirty and the carpet was so worn you could trip on it. I was given a different room and the keys didn't work. So that really put a sour damper on things. The second room was nice ,the bed was comfortable and it was clean . The second problem came in when I ordered room service. The fees tacked on doubled the bill. I understand a delivery fee to bring it to the room but double. I should have just went down and dined. When they found out it was my birthday weekend I was offered to be the "Chef's Guest" for dinner and it would be a comped meal. So I assumed it would be an exceptional experience so I canceled my previous dinner reservation elsewhere. The waitress didn't know what the chef guest meant. I assumed as the chef's guest, he/she would come out to greet you, tell us a little about themselves and explain what he/she would be cooking up for us and get any feedback after the meal. I assumed wrong. Nothing from the chef and I was billed for my meal. After that epic letdown, I canceled my late check out and brunch reservation for the following day. During checkout, I told them about my experience and was assured that the meal was supposed be to comped but because I paid for it at the restaurant and not charged it to my room. It was out of their hands which I totally understand. There are different billing procedures for different departments. I appreciated them hearing my disappointments. Take aways from the Iron House, the staff is exceptional. They treat you like family from the maintenance worker walking in the halls, the doormen, housekeeping and the front desk. I had friendly conversations with everyone. Hope you appreciate them. You could offer discount codes for the parking structure for guest since it's limited parking. The beds are so comfy you don't want to get out of them. From my experience I would never stay again. And my issue I experienced will never be resolved and I will likely just get a generated reply" Sorry about your experience " but at least my experience was expressed and documented for others to see."
