"The staff at 101 Surf Sport is awesome! My 10 year old and I rented a paddle board to paddle down the canal (aka San Rafael Creek) and the staff was so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. This was our first time paddle boarding and my kiddo didn’t realize how easy it would be to throw me to my but from standing when she tried to climb onto the back of the board without giving me time to prepare. Unfortunately, this resulted in my losing my phone (attached to a lanyard and in a water proof bag). The guys at 101 Surf Sports were SO thoughtful and helpful despite the loss of my phone. I would recommend this shop/rental spot to anyone!!"

"Love this place. The staff are always laid back, helpful and friendly. We go here about 2 times a year and would love to go more as the kids really enjoy it. When I let the kids go off and kayak or paddle board, the staff check in on me offering water or a chat. We don't use the store much but it appears (to my ignorant eye) to be very well stocked with all kinds of stuff"

"This shop is as good as it gets and has a team of people who use the products they sell. They have a ton of expertise when I need advice on products. Derrick does a great job repairing dings on all the SUPs I continually damage and has not reported me to board protective services. When the pandemic is over, they have a ton of rental equipment and a great launch point for renters. I can't say enough about the level of service I've received from the team at 101 over the past couple years."
