"When we first got there, we immediately got a complaint for being too loud when we were just sitting on our phones then some guy came up, pretending to be the owner and kicked everyone out. Overall this place sucks. The real owners were rude. The pool wasn’t open there was no housekeeping no room services. The coffee sucked. The TV channels wouldn’t even work and the bed. Had some type of reddish brown stains on them will never come back."

"This hotel is just minutes away from the Elroy to Sparta Rail Trail and some decent Mexican food just down the street. The renovated rooms suited us just fine and we liked the old style tile bathroom and the tub/shower combination. The beds were comfortable and our night here was quiet. June 16 2023"

"I stayed there on a weekly rate for almost a year. Almost 4 years ago I have a lot of things to say about this place. The owner Ben and his family are amazing. We’ve been in arguments and stuff that is completely valid on his part and that part of my life I was an alcoholic getting in trouble with the law a lot. My family visited the place and he told him everything that I was hiding from them. I’ve been behind on rent and caused trouble not at the motel, but in Sparta. He has done nothing but help me. He has tried to be a good father figure in my life and let me to go to AA after I left the motel. Him and his wife and his family, just the most amazing people. What he put up with his heart are out of this world. It was hard I had no job and he let me paint rooms and help the other guys… 5 stars is less than what they deserve. I don’t want to, but if I ever have to go back to Sparta, that’s where I’m going to stay not only that whole testimony I just gave. The rooms are extremely affordable, extremely clean and equipment in bed and everything there is just great. I don’t mind the bad reviews he’s a really good guy and he helps people that are down on their luck and a lot of them are on drugs or alcohol. This man just helps people in any way he can even when they do him wrong and I’m telling you you don’t believe me just ask him to show your room. He takes pride in his career. It’s a locally owned small business, and they still take pride in what they do and that’s a really rare in these days."

"I gave 5 star not for luxury - but for its class it is at the top. Rooms are old but clean. Beds are comfortable which is way more than you can say for fellow class motels. And the best part - quiet and decent water pressure. **also I forgot my curling iron and realized day after I had checked out. They went right to the cleaning closet and got it for me."
