Motel 95 & Campground

"This is a quiet economical little motel. It does not have the amenities of a chain motel but well worth the stay. The manager was very friendly, helpful and did not bother us unless we needed something. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I will stay there again."

"This review is only related to purchasing firewood. Saw from the road they had firewood for sale. The KOA down the road charges $7 bundle. We got 2 large arm full loads of wood (about same amount as 4 bundles at KOA) for about the price of 1.5 KOA bundles. Just go into the office and ask for firewood. Easy transaction and price was great. Saved a few bucks. We did not stay here so no comment on that."

"Absolutely horrible experience. Had 1 towel in the 4 person adult room, the towel was cover in what looked like feces stains. Woke up in the morning to find bed worms in one of the beds. Do NOT recommend!!!"

"My finance and I were waiting outside this motel for a couple of friends to see if we could get a room here and the “owner” came up to us, knocked on our window and very rudely asked what we were doing here while him and some female went to what looked like an alcohol store right next to the motel. We just decided to call our friends and go to a different hotel since the “owner” obviously doesn’t know how to treat guests. We even went to wait somewhere else until our friends got a little bit closer so we weren’t even there for long. We literally just pulled up and parked when he started walking to our car"

"We had a great stay at this motel. Nate and Amber were so great and helpful. They are really working hard to make this facility clean. We enjoyed having a bonfire and cooking on the grill in the yard. Didn’t get any fishermen to share their catch tho. But next time we visit I’m bringing my pole to go fishing. There was a big flea market next door and tons of antique shops to visit in the area. Campground next to motel and I think showers available for use. Our room had a clean bed and shower and anything we needed Nate and Amber helped us out with. It’s a older place but I felt safe and comfortable with our time there. Great job Nate and Amber.
