"I felt like we stepped back in time! Many antiques and knickknacks. Service was slow, only 1 waitress and 1 cook. But the food was exquisite! Gravy and biscuits flavorful and omelets huge and delicious."

"Check in was at 3, I got there at 530 and the heritage room wasn't ready. The woman checked us in and showed us the room anyways. One of the main reasons I booked this room was for the whirlpool but the hot water wouldn't turn on, leaving it completely useless. We got dinner and came back at 630 and she was still working on the room so we drove around with nothing to do until 7 when we were finally able to get in. The floors were creaky, the hot water in the shower was finicky, the walls were thin so you could hear everything your neighbors were doing and saying, the bedsheets were stained, the porch area was in disarray, and the hallways were covered in cobwebs and spiders. The dining area was a mess and the whole place smelled like dirty dish water. We didn't even bother staying for their breakfast, we took the first ferry off the island. Never going back, would not recommend it."

"Overpriced for what you get. The bacon was excellent, but the breakfast came with only a couple tablespoons of potatoes. Potatoes are so inexpensive, at least serve a bunch of those so people aren't going away hungry. The atmosphere was also too busy with knick knacks all over and a bunch of different tables and chairs that didn't match. Felt like eating at a rummage sale. I liked that it's a Christian business and am writing this in hopes that they tweak some things and make this a better dining experience."

"It's a quaint spot but needs some work. Actually enjoyed the room but the breakfast was another thing. Nice lady but not aware of customers. Had to ask for a coffee refill and waited over 35 minutes for our check. Not sure if we'll stay here again. Also no instructions on TV and when asked the woman from that morning didn't know finally after breakfast was heading to our room and she asked where we're going. To our room I said, as if she'd not spoke to me the night before about the TV"
