"My toddler was seen virtually because we live far away. He had a palm burn and was sick of waiting rooms so being able to see Dr. Bennet from our living room was very helpful. He treated us very well and consistently asked what supplies we needed, then he had everything overnight shipped to our house! I couldn't say enough good things about the care we received. And then a few months later, We received a letter saying that our last bill was paid off by a grant and we now have a 0$ balance! It blows my mind because the hospitals in our area are so money hungry."
"I never write reviews on anything. I felt compelled after our visit because the care was so wonderful. My teenager had fantastic care for frostbite and incredible, authentic staff that helped us on our visit. Highly recommend!"
"I cannot express enough how amazing the care is here. My two month old got a burn to his neck and we were flooded with support from the staff. They eased my horrible case of mom guilt and constantly reassured me that accidents happen all the time. They took into consideration the comfort of my son and made sure the surgery and aftercare were as painless as possible. They were not afraid to call in help from other units for more specialized care, such as getting an IV in an infant. They explained everything in detail on what they needed to do and what would happen, they also gladly answered all the questions we had. The Nurses, PA’s, Surgeons, Nurse Practitioners, and Housekeeping staff all interacted so sweetly with my son, I really think he felt like he was on a vacation visiting family. It was so heartwarming to see him smile and laugh everyday the week were there. We were educated really well on home care and what to do after discharge, as well as given everything we need for wound dressings. It’s so nice to have the option for virtual check ups since we live so far away. It felt so crazy to feel relaxed, happy and confident upon discharge, instead of scared and worried about what home care would look like. There is a wonderful outdoor patio to go and get fresh air and get out of the room for a bit. We had a cot and a recliner chair that laid out completely flat so we could stay in the room with our son the whole time (because we had an infant, both parents were allowed to stay). They also have designated sleeping rooms you can use as well. There is a common play room for families stocked with books, games, toys, and kid friendly furniture. This room also had a microwave, toaster and shared fridge. We were not expecting to be admitted for a week, so they graciously let us do a few loads of laundry as well. The shared shower can be used before 8 am, after 5 pm (so not during clinic hours) and I believe anytime on the weekends. We were given “care giver” meals and allowed to order food from their kitchen to the room. It’s no five star Michelin restaurant, but it makes meals one less thing you have to worry/think about doing in such stressful times. My son is formula fed and we were provided with formula and donor breastmilk for him during the time we were there. I seriously cannot sing the praises enough of how wonderful the care is at the Burn Center!"
"I had been Happy with my care at Regions Burn Clinic, Until today! Started with The Dr telling me by the looks of my wound I shouldn’t be still in the discomfort I’m in! Then went on and asked me how I’m affording to live with being out of work! I agree my wound looks really good! I’m following what I’m asked to for the care of the burn! Made me feel as I was either lying or imagining what I’m still feeling! And when is it the Drs. Business to how your affording to live! Have never left a Dr.Appointment so mad before."
"We were in the burn unit for almost a month with my son. He was very well cared for. We felt like the staff was like a big family. We can't thank them enough!"
