"Excellent service. Always willing to help you get your pool ready for summer."
"We purchased our home in July and did not live in it right away so we could do some renovations. Tuscan Pools was maintaining the pool when we purchased the home, so we planned on having them continue. Once we moved into the home in august I finally was home while the pool guy, Richard, was coming out servicing our pool. First of all, he was pretty abrasive when I was asking questions. I had every right to know what he was or wasn’t doing with our pool. Without testing the pool he poured a gallon of chlorine in, added some chlorine tablets, and skimmed the top a little bit. A total of maybe 20 minutes. He blatantly stated he charged the previous owner, and now us, twice the amount on materials because it is such a far drive out. I informed my husband of this, and we decided to keep them for another month before ending their services as we were trying to get settled in and didn’t want to worry about the pool. During the month of September I had noticed there were a lot of leaves and debris at the bottom of the pool, and it was a Tuesday so I knew Richard had been out. I called the company and asked if he had said anything about our pool equipment not working. The office ladies said they would ask him and would get back to me. They never did. The next week came and the same thing. Even more debris at the bottom of the pool and he had came and “serviced” our pool. Wouldn’t you think they would call and let their customer know their equipment wasn’t functioning properly? Knowing what the problem was I called again and asked if they gave talked to Richard to see if he said anything and I got the run around again. Ultimately I cancelled their service. Upon doing so I told the person who I was speaking to, which sounded like a young man, about Richard telling me how he charges for extra materials he uses because we live so far out. The man told me he would leave a note for the owner and that they would give me a call back in regard to that. I waited a week. No call back. I called again and this time spoke to the book-keeper who said Richard doesn’t have the ability to charge extra because he isn’t doing the book-keeping. But she will talk to him and get back to me. You can see, I’m getting the run around with everyone. I didn’t hear back from her but instead got another invoice in the mail stating “I spoke to Richard and the chemicals noted are the chemicals used.” How am I supposed to trust that when he straight up told me he charges double, and the little yellow slip he gave me that day said he put 4 tablets in when I watched him put 2. I didn’t want to pay our invoice until it was made right. Ultimately I kept getting the run around that he didn’t do that and nothing was ever said about them not notifying us about our pool equipment not functioning properly. They also denied charging extra on anything due to distance, and are now are commenting that I was in fact being charged extra. The dishonesty continues. Basically, if you want a company to come service your pool that has integrity and one you can trust, then don’t choose this company."
"My pool needs help, but unfortunately this is the only walk-in store that I am aware of that is located in Red Bluff. The lady was so rude. Last year we explained to her that we were new to pool ownership but she continued to speak to us in a condescending manner. We brought a water sample in and, although we were the only people in the store, she didn't seem to care about explaining things in non-scientific terms. Red Bluff needs a couple of more pool stores so she doesn't feel so damned important and has a bit of competition to force her to perform better customer service."
"I didn't go into the store myself, but my boyfriend went in to purchase product for some issues we were having with our above ground pool, and well water discoloration. They were knowledgeable and the chemicals and products they sold us cleared the problem up in 24 hours!"
"Nice lady, but does not have good business skills. Wait around for her and sometimes she shows up, and sometimes she doesn't. Sometimes she sends helpers out that don't know anything about what they are doing. We have spent alot of money with this company for, new pool robot that cost over $700.00 etc.and got terrible results. Sweep only cleans deeper end of pool."
