"We've had less impressive customer service experiences at 4 star hotels! My husband had back surgery here, and WOW! The staff from the minute you walk in til they help you load your husband into your vehicle could NOT BE BETTER! Texts and an info board so you know how your loved one is doing, aromatherapy for his anxiety, dietary staff that display enthusiasm and care, the surgeon and anesthesiologist taking time to explain everything with care and his nurses! OMG! His nurses! Grateful for them beyond words. Talk about going above and beyond and making us feel so cared about. I'm a burnt out healthcare worker myself, and our experience here reinvigorated me and reminded me why I got into healthcare to begin with, to CARE for people. Bravo to everyone at this hospital!!"

"I received the best care both times I was admitted. Doctors were outstanding. The ICU and med/surg nurses were professional and knowledgeable. Every one of them were worthy of the Daisy Award. Must be a good place to work because staff appear happy."

"If I could give a zero I would! The way they cared for my daughter was scary! Do not have your baby here!! Three days of induction with no progress and still insisting and not following the doctor. Baby was in distress. Finally a c-section then sent home with an infection and no antibiotics or no notice to doctor. Then to top it off they overbill, bill for things not done. Then try to get it fixed, they send you to collections with this not being fixed. They will not let you talk to their manager about their behavior. Attorney General is aware of them!"

"Absolutely unacceptable. My adult son was having severe abdominal pain So I drove him to the ER at St John’s Fairview Hospital in Maplewood Mn. This was following recommendation from a nurse triage telephone visit. She indicated possible bowel obstruction or appendicitis. My son checked in at reception. The ER was crowded as expected. He came out to vehicle where I was waiting and was in so much pain he couldn’t sit in waiting room. I went in as visitor and waited for him to be called. Eventually he came back in. He was sitting on the floor moaning and writhing in pain. I went to receptionist and asked for Tylenol or something to help with pain. She said she would check into. I went to her a second time to follow up about the Tylenol. 5 minutes later she informed me that I had to go wait outside because they were short on space. I sat out in the lobby where I could see my son through the window. I saw a stranger go sit with him to comfort him. They eventually got him into triage where they said they would get him Tylenol and IV fluids and that he needed a CT scan to rule out appendicitis. Another hour went by. No tests or Tylenol no anything. No follow up from anyone. I went in to see what was going on. Afraid I was going to get confronted again. We finally left due to lack of attention and poor follow up We will need to call 911 if it gets worse. I have to tell you, I cried on the way home because of the way we were treated. It was awful. Heartless. We are going to consider. Changing our health plan This hospital needs to do better to show compassion and show accountability. Poor. Sad. Inadequate. Heartbreaking."
