"We were looking for a getaway for our 50th wedding anniversary and this place was recommended by friends. We were not disappointed! We loved that it was a short distance from town. Our room was very clean and spacious. The view was gorgeous and so relaxing. The flowers around the grounds were simply stunning. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We wondered definitely recommend LSL!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Lodge. The view from the lower common deck is amazing. Our room was quite comfy though a rug at the entrance would be nice for removing the gravel (the parking area is all dirt and gravel, and I had to step in a large puddle when getting out of the car when we arrived) and dirt. The grounds are a bit shabby but I think the owners are steadily bringing new life to an older facility. No breakfast. Coffee in the room was pretty good. We would stay here again"

"What a pleasant, clean, comfortable place to stay when we visited the Apostle Islands from Bayfield, WI. From the minute I booked, I found the staff to be helpful, interested in what we needed for our mini-vacation, and very kind. The Condo that Catherine booked for us had a full kitchen, lovely covered porch overlooking Lake Superior, and (bonus) a jetted tub for 2! The location is perfect--within walking distance of the cute town of Bayfield; so we never had to look for parking downtown. We were so happy to find that there was live musical entertainment in the park the evening of our arrival; so nice, overlooking the lake! Morty's pub was a great first stop after arriving, offering some great brews and a monitor with fun trivia questions! The service at Morty's was excellent. The morning of our boat tour of the Apostle Islands, we walked down to the coffee shop for a latte and headed right to the dock--another first-class operation, and wonderfully informative cruise. Thanks Lake Superior Lodge, for everything!"

"Most Beautiful view of Lake Superior from right outside out room! The Lodge was very quiet and peaceful. Room and bathroom were spotless. Contactless check in was very easy. Will definitely stay here again."
