"I'd leave 0 stars, but that's not an option. I tried to sign my daughter up for swim lessons. A week and a half before I signed her up I emailed and left a voicemail as to how to sign up for private lessons. No response. No big deal I went a head and signed her up feb 1st for a feb 4th lesson. I didn't know that wasnt enough time because nobody email/called me back. I didn't get an offical approved email, but the money was taken from my account. I showed up knowing it was possible that swim lessons wouldn't happen. Again no problem. I talked to a gal there told her the scoop. She was great. She told me I would get a refund said sorry and to hammer down on sending emails until I heard back from somebody. So I sent a total of 2 emails and Ashleigh Kramer called me almost immediately after the 2nd email. She didn't even say Hello. I said Hello and she said you need to stop emailing me right now. If you would look at your emails you would see I already gave you a refund (I recieved no emails). You need to give us 3 days to respond to an email do you underatand that! I said I'm going to stop you because I tried to contact you almost 2 weeks ago. And Ashleigh Kramer wigged out at me and told me she wasn't going to be talked over and I needed to listen to her and countined to tell me how wrong it was that I emailed and didn't just wait for a response. She would not let me talk and just kept yelling at me. I for sure lost my temper at that point I and hung up. She them emailed me and told me that I abruptly ended the phone call and said that if this was a problem then the swim club was obviously not the place for us to do swim lessons. Ashleigh Kramer was very very disrespectful. Aside from her I am sure this place is great. But she was not!"

"I've written this once but will do again. They cancelled open skate on a sunday but did not update on their website. We drove from Chatfield so I could take my first time hockey player skating with his single mom who manages a store. The staff has chased me out of the rink for not using the right door after hockey practice. Thanks for letting my son skate as I paid for it. But this facility is poorly managed."

"I was confronted, mind you almost attacked, today while taking my 6 year old son from hockey practice. Telling me that I am only allowed to use one exit and that is their busy season and cannot be bothered by my hockey player and his bag. I calmed my son as he thought he did something wrong. This woman, followed us up the stairs asking if our hockey coach sent an email and continued to harass us asking if we read the signs on the wall. No. I am a single mother, I do my best to hold him and I together. We arrived two weleks ago for open skate, and were told they didn’t update their website but had no open skate. We live in chatfield. This was the only day I had with my son. This facility will coach my son but the staff is trash…"

"We love the Rochester Rec Center. It's a sprawling facility of two ice rinks, two pools (WWP & 50M lap/large pool) & gym. Hockey, swimming, pickleball, ice skating (w/ skate rental available), basketball, even curling... Home to the area's Rochester Grizzlies, swim club and Figure Skating program."

"A nice time to go and support some local sports! The only thing I would complain about is that they have a very small parking lot, other than that, it seems like a really great environment and they have concessions for games and sometimes really great drink deals! A place you can take the entire family! Go support something alcohol and have fun!"
