"I took my 5 year old daughter to her pediatrician Dr. Onsy Basta for a severe cough and fever. She has a history of pneumonia and upper respiratory infections. I explained this to him and asked he prescribe her antibiotics. He insisted she had allergy, even though she was running a fever of 101 the day she went in to see him. He told me to give her over the counter Claritin and Albuterol. 6 days later her cough was worse. I called him and he said she needed prednisone. He was rude to me on the phone, even raised his voice at me when I insisted she needed antibiotics. Her cough kept getting worse. I brought her in to the ER per a telehealth doctor and she has PNEUMONIA. MY CHILD COULD HAVE DIED FROM THIS & THIS INCOMPETENT DOCTOR DR. ONSY BASTA misdiagnosed her! He’s an idiot! She’s 5!!! Something needs to be done. This is not the first time he does this. He was my sister’s pediatrician and she was complaining of leg pain. He said she just did not have anything wrong, she just did not want to go to school. Turned out my sister had a dislocated hip and needed surgery ASAP! His license needs to be revoked!!!! TAKE YOUR KIDS SOMEWHERE ELSE!"

"This is for Optum office and customer service of Dr. Basta..... I kindly spoke to Optum about setting an appointment and they kept hanging up on me and transferring. I would patiently call back and this kept being repeated. I had all my information to register and just needed to set up a monthly check up for a infant. Lady seemed confused that I came calling back and asked me to call in a few hours. I told her that it's fine and I will just register somewhere else and she laughed and said "fair enough""
