"I don’t know why this company is in business. The Customer service is horrible. I would recommend not paying for any warranty if the company used by furniture store is guardsman. Someone needs to put them out of business for this scam"

"If I could give this company a score of 0 star I would. We have purchased multiple pieces of furniture from Homemakers and got the extended warranty with Guardsman. One half of our reclining sofa failed and the fabric was wearing thin and flaking. I filed a claim and a month later a serviceman came out to look at it. It has now been 2 months and still no repair. The serviceman also said they only had an order to repair the failed mechanism and not the fabric. They are impossible to get ahold of and are now claiming they need a receipt which I sent them 2 months ago. We will never do business with homemakers again because of the experience we have had with the warranty company they chose to do business with."

"We lost our remote for our adjustable bed. We submitted a claim almost 5 months ago (we thought it was covered but would have understood if it wasn’t). It took them this long to tell us it wasn’t covered. Horrible customer service and not responsive at all. We’ve called many times trying to check on the status of the claim and finally got through just for them to tell us it wasn’t covered."
