"just insane prices. this “non profit” makes crazy amounts of money. they will get something for free and put it up for market value. that is not what thrift stores are for. Apparently it’s our job to check if the CD/DvDs are in the case. I’ve recently stopped buy cds and dvds from there. The electronics prices have just been crazy too. no way they test the 100$ item back there right. even the okay priced items arw very risky to buy"

"New female employees were rude and unpleasant. I asked if there was a fitting room and was told no even though a stocking employee told me there was. I asked if I could return the clothes if they didn’t fit and I was told yes within 14 days so I came back a few minutes later to return them and then they said it’s exchange only. Very misleading and new employees are giving out wrong info."

"I found Wild Fable leggings with the clearance sticker crossed out, I bought that item at Target for cheaper than what Savers is charging. Donation attendant didn't give me a coupon when I asked (maybe didn't hear me), and the manager (short blond hair, mid 50s) gave me attitude when I requested one from the register. I found the person with the most stuff in her cart in the store and got out of there. Total grift."

"Extremely high prices! Store is chaotic and sometimes pretty dirty. This is not the “Savers” of years ago, and it makes me so sad. I commend you if you can find any one item of clothing under 9 bucks. Worse than trying to weed through the clearance section in a big box store- not a lot of quality, not a lot of value. There have been a few things here and there that I have picked up for home decor, Halloween, etc- but as far as having a “go to” thrift store for your everyday needs, or just for fun (the way thrifting used to be!!), Savers ends up being stressful. Also, no helpful employees. Like a lot of places, employees will do anything to avoid having to help a customer. Pretty unreal! Who here remembers the good old days when the combination of strong customer service ethics + strong fair pricing ethics (aren’t thrift stores also called “charity shops” in some areas? Isn’t that what they were supposed to be about- making everyday items affordable for people who could not otherwise afford them??) made thrifting a thrill and a joy?? I dearly miss those days! Now things are equally unaffordable no matter where you go! It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me, you would think that overhead would be comparatively low considering they receive their inventory for nothing! Customers- what can we do about this, if anything?? I feel there must be something we can do before we loose thrifting forever. "Surprised at how expensive some items are, particularly clothes. But what really got me is today the (assuming a manager) changed the price of two items higher AS I was wanting to purchase! She wouldn't honor the stickers that were on them and claimed this happens. I understand that can happen; however, honor the current sticker price and don't change the price to more than twice the amount AT THE SAME TIME I'm wanting to purchase."
