"I’d first off like to say, the managers that have cycled through this complex were fantastic. However, the issues within the units are tediously unbelievable. Mainly with how they were addressed. Mold that was continuously growing and simply covered up with primer caused me to have immense issues with respiratory problems and headaches. The smells of gas, and disruptions in hot water flow soured us on the entire experience towards the backend of our lease. Having a gym that is as small as a phone booth that closes at 10pm without fail, was capped off with some fun cockroaches running around every now and then. Super unforgettable experience."
"The manager drew went above and beyond to help me secure my apartment! He is unbelievable heaven sent. Caring he responds quickly and he does his job impeccably! The whole complex is beautiful while taking care of seems very quiet calm I'm excited to start my new journey here and Simi valley for me and my daughter!!! Right next to everything you need food places grocery stores convenience stores etc Great staff clean area nice amenities!"
"My husband and I moved here in Nov 2020, since then we've seen different managers come and go, struggling to fit into their role. However, Sage Creek has an exceptional property manager now that has gone above and beyond in making the community better. Thank you, Drew, for being so proactive and dealing with so much craziness that comes from property management. From the time we moved, people seemed like they didn't respect the community rules at all and were very inconsiderate of others, but it has gotten much better thanks to Drew. I am only giving it 4 stars because unfortunately the neighbors that we have did not make our living experience great, but that is what comes with apartment living sometimes. Other than that our apartment was great."
"I only lived there for a year and yet went through multiple different management people in the office. The turnover rate there seems to be insane. However, most of the problems are with the condition of the place itself and management. Although overpriced, the apartment I rented for a year was decent. Although one of the three bedrooms began to flood at the start of 2022 due to the area's excessive rain, all management did was send someone to clean the carpets. We didn't ever get to tour the unit before agreeing to the lease, and we didn't get to see the place until the day before moving in when we got our keys. We learned that parking was awful, as they only allowed one parking space per unit, and other cars had to park on the street. They were insulting when we added someone to our lease during the term since we were renting a three-bedroom and made it clear that two people in a three-bedroom would eventually become three people, we just hadn't found the third person yet. When we did find them, management made it impossible to get through to them, and we waited two weeks for what should've taken an hour at best. Within the first three weeks the stove started having issues in the sense that it would not turn off, just kept reheating itself. We called the emergency 24-hour maintenance number three times before we had to call my dad to take care of the situation. Had he not been there, the Fire Department would have been required all because the emergency maintenance people never came. Instead, the maintenance crew came over 18 hours AFTER the emergency. When discussing the matter with the management, they said we would not be able to do anything because "it's not like living with your parents. You can't just get new appliances" (when they cause an emergency needing the gas valve to be shut). At the end of our lease, we were told specific things regarding how long we would be renting the unit and were told that the day we turn our keys in is the last day we are rent responsible. Yet, when we paid the rent with that pro-rate in mind, it took over a week for them to tell us that suddenly we were responsible for more than that. So we had to pay for a period of time that we were not and could not be living there, and because of the lack of due diligence on the management part, we did not even have access to the unit we were paying for. Every bad review you see about this place is likely true. The dog poop everywhere, the loud neighbors that constantly smoke weed, the awful parking situation - it's a l l true. Don't rent here, you will immediately regret it if you do."
