Hazel Ranch

"Hazel Ranch is a lovely community. I have not had any issues with the management and the maintenance team always tries to be helpful. They resolve small issues in a timely manner and try their best to work around supply chain issues with larger issues. The apartments themselves are nice, but rather small. The gym is also small and a little lacking, but the pool is great and the grounds/gardens/outside environment is wonderful. It is a pet friendly place - I feel very comfortable here with my cat. Edit 11/28: I broke my lease a few months early and moved out in July 2023. The process was straight forward and I never felt taken advantage of. As the lease stated, there was a 2-month-rent cost to break. That was tough to swallow, but not a surprise and not shady on Hazel Ranch's part. I lived there for 36-37 months. They did not try to overcharge my deposit. I got most of it back minus a reasonable (I forget... more than $100 but less than $200) charge for professional cleaning and the cost to repair obvious (non-wear-and-tear) damage that occurred to some of the floorboards. Overall, I enjoyed my time at the apartment complex."

"We have been tenants here for roughly 4 years now. We did upgrade to a larger unit. But, when we first moved in years ago there were a lot of property issues, maintenance etc.. Since the new management has taken over the past few months, they have been so much better at resolving issues and making us feel comfortable. They have fixed amenities, and cleaned up some of the property issues. The scenery, location close to the river and freeway are all a bonus! Glad to have some new office staff that care and are on top of their issues. Though there are some bad reviews from previous management, we just wanted to say thank you Liz and Hazel Ranch for going the extra mile!"

"Liz is the greatest property manager. Since I’ve lived here there have been 3 different property managers and she by far us the best. She and Anita are so attentive to the needs of the tenants. They even got me bee and wasp spray because I am allergic to them, they also make sure pest control sprays by my unit at least twice a month."

"I know there is a lot of negative reviews but I had to come see for myself and glad I did!! Anita and Liz are amazing!!!!!! I toured the property with Anita and she answered all my questions was patient and so nice as I toured apartments and asked a lot of questions. She never made me feel like a question was silly or too much. I love living here! Anita and her manager Liz were so accommodating and made my move in process smooth. I definitely recommend renting here! Beautiful complex and I love that it's close to the freeway! Again thank you so much Liz and Anita I really appreciate the both you."

"Hazel ranch apartments used to be a beautiful, quiet place to live. We lived there for about 4 years and it has slowly went downhill since new property management took over. I really do not recommend living here anymore. While we lived there, my boyfriend's car got broken into. When it was 100 outside, my a/c ran 24/7 and the apartment was 90. They did nothing to fix it after we complained multiple times. Maintenance would come out either right away or wait 2 months before fixing something. The front desk never answers the phone. The leasing office staff is changing constantly as well. When my family who lived in other apartments moved out, they basically got no deposit back even though they cleaned very well. When my family moved in, the place was disgusting even though they said they cleaned it. On move-in day, no one was there to give the keys to my family from the office and a regional manager had to come out. The amenities haven't worked for the past year. The spa has been off for 6+ months and they remodeled the pool during the summer of all times so you couldn't use it. They force you to pay a monthly 20 dollar valet trash fee. This place is a joke now and it's really sad to see. The only pro to living here is the scenery and it's close to the freeway."
