"Renters beware. I lived there for 9 months. The manager Harmoni treats everyone bad. They will take forever to fix anything in the apartment. I made a mistake renting here. You will only hear bad news from Harmoni. Save your money and be smart. I couldn’t wait to move out."

"Unfortunately, the comments regarding their inability to be accessible are true. My fiancé and I have been waiting for a decision on our application for 5 days now with a move-in date slated for less than 2 weeks from today. No one ever seems to be in the office to answer the phone even during “business hours” and good luck finding an email that isn’t a robot (Lisa). I’m disappointed because my family was really looking forward to living in this community. Having lived close by it in the past and having familiarity with the area. There is still time for them to come around before we are due to move. But we are losing faith with the similarities in our experience and those commented below mine."

"My wife and I took a tour into the place and it looked really nice with spacious rooms in a clean area. We applied a couple of days later and our background checks came back just fine, but then we didn't hear anything back from the apartments for almost a week. We called, left voicemails, emailed the agent Harmoni, and sent text messages, but we never got a response back from a person. It's been about a month since we applied and we haven't heard anything back to this day. The only responses we got was from an automated virtual assistant called "Lisa", who just directed us to call the office. It felt very unprofessional and after reading a couple reviews, it seems that other people have gone through the same experience recently. I obviously do not recommend the place since it felt like we just paid our application fees for nothing, but if you want to try to apply, make sure you have other alternatives because Villa Toscana may not get back to you. Edit: Villa Toscana reached out after I made the review. They refunded the application fees and apologized for the late response. They explained that they were short handed during the last month. I appreciate them reaching out and hope they do better in the future."

"Previous one star review is just someone who believes they are entitled. I’ve never had an issue with gates, not once. The office has never not been helpful. Oh, and you didn’t have water for a part of the day? That’s called living in an apartment complex, it has only happend once here. Everywhere I’ve lived previously we would lose water at least 2 times a month. Also, if you don’t think your rent will increase after 12 years then maybe you should figure out how inflation works."

"We have lived on this property for 10 years. It is a beautiful complex and the management team is AWESOME. The maintenance team is AWESOME as well. We love the "gated" community, upgraded windows for energy efficiency and the quietness of the property. When you have a maintenance request they act upon it quickly. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to live in the Rancho San Diego area."
