"I actually really enjoyed my time at this hotel. The room was great and I enjoyed chatting with the bartenders in the evening. What I did not enjoy was a bogus $100 damage charge to my card after checking out. The GM did not respond to my voicemail or email asking to discuss it, and I had to file a chargeback through Amex. It’s a shame. My stay was so nice that I planned to return every year with my students for an annual conference—I will be taking my business elsewhere instead."

"Horrible experience! My family spent the weekend here two weeks ago for an event in El Cajon. On the second day of our stay my shoes were missing from the room. Had to run all around town that night to find a new pair. Spoke to hotel staff and were not very helpful. After two weeks and several phone calls/voice mails trying to get a hold of the assistant GM of the property (Juan) I finally got a hold of him. He pretty much went straight to his point and said there is nothing we can do about it. He was not very friendly and didn’t even bother trying to look into the incident or do any type of investigation. Don’t trust this hotel! Several other great leisure/business hotels in the San Diego El Cajon area!"

"Wonderful location and hotel. Great room and great shower. Breakfast service left a lot to be desired. Busy giving a math class to staff, paying customer left waiting. Delayed me for my meeting. Although a great breakfast, I'll skip this step next time."

"The hotel is very nice. The rooms are clean great but the manager Terry she have a very Bad attitude shouldn’t be manager the another employee staff member front desk. They are the best I would prefer to take my business somewhere else."

"Clean, quiet, modernized Courtyard. Great lobby with lots of places to sit. Easy access to the I-8 freeway and lots of eateries within walking distance. Staff is very accommodating. Prices are fair. Great fitness room and pool. Lots of parking in the evening."
