"(UPDATE 11/04/2022) We live on the Apartment side of the Arbors. This community is beautifully landscaped, beautifully clean and maintained . We have a lovely 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment that comes with a fireplace, 2 spacious balcony's in the front and back. Management are friendly and helpful. We are very happy to have found this lovely quiet community .Thank you for making it that way . We have lived here forv4 years now. "Great place if you love to spend big and live poor. Helen Keller would love this place. However, if you are fortunate enough to be able to see and hear, then this isn't the place for you. The pool is loud all day with people who don't live at the complex. The security guard comes late. The apartments have old appliances and nasty bugs that crawl around."

"UPDATE (4/24/19): We have been living here just over a year now and absolutely love it. The little things we complained about in the beginning have either been fixed or don’t bother us anymore. The property is always immaculate and well groomed, the pools are both cleaned weekly and there’s trash pickup almost daily. The management office is great; very responsive to email communication and organized. When we first moved in it seemed like the turnover was kind of high, but we’ve had the same few ladies taking care of us ever since and they’re great. We pay our rent online for no extra fees and rarely get bothered with medial management stuff like at some smaller properties we’ve lived in. Our neighbors are probably the best part of the experience. Being on the townhouse side there’s a ton of young families like ourselves, and everyone is very friendly and respectful. We haven’t had any issues at all since we moved in and we plan on staying until we can buy a house. Highly recommend! (2/2018): We've only been here a month, but so far we really like it. There are things that need to be improved inside the unit, but we're opting to do it ourselves since my husband works in the trades. Management doesn't communicate with each other and they're hard to get a hold of, but we are very hands-off tenants and won't need them much anyhow. We're in the townhouse side, which is very family-friendly and well maintained. They do need to install more doggy dropping stations on our side, but the landscaping and trash clean up is satisfactory. My only complaint so far is that the walls are very thin and my bedroom wall is on the opposite side of a neighbor's kitchen, so I can hear all their cupboards slamming shut regularly. They also have a special needs son who runs and jumps and slams things and it's like having an upstairs neighbor without them actually being upstairs (it's split-level, so we're upstairs and downstairs). The appliances are outdated, but working. The garage is small, but convenient. I definitely agree there isn't enough parking, but we just move our car to the street so our guests can park close. We moved from a tiny 2/1 in El Cajon, so this is a major upgrade for us. Overall, we're happy with it so far."

"I live in one of their 2 bedroom 2 bath units and these apartments are huge! Plus they have a front and back balcony with a big storage closet and washer and dryer hookups. You wont find anything this big for the price in San Diego. They are super responsive to requests. I think a lot of the negativity is from units who dont follow the rules (all normal and standard). The staff here are very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable family friendly place to live."

"This place is a mess, nice place to live at but if you own more than one vehicle DO NOT MOVE HERE. If you have company over and they need parking there will be none. This apartment and townhome complex is great but the parking and the way spit are designated is a royal mess. You might have to park a block away if you own more than one vehicle. It's just such a stressful place to live at. Great location but management needs to toughen up around here and the city needs to create more spaces to park. Not to mention people park there cars out on the street for months leaving those spots useless for other people. Only recommend this place for single car owners with no friends or family."
