"Clayton Park has 6 acres of park along the Root River, with the paved Root River Pathway on the banks of the river. Featuring semi-wooded prairie areas this is a quiet, beautiful gem of a space in the heart of the city. Unexpectedly quiet and beautiful. If you take Clayton left/west to Riverside, left on Riverside it empties back on the Root River Pathway and connects the parks along the river all of the way to the forest in Colonial Park."
