"This little comfy resident area is located at the perfect place on Mira Mesa, close to everything, work, grocery, stores, restaurants. The maintenance is good and response is quick, love to stat here!"

"This community is conveniently located close to the companies in Sorrento Valley and the shopping centers in Mira Mesa. Being able to just walk to the Aldi to get groceries is great. The common areas are neatly landscaped and maintained, and the buildings are well spaced apart for a good level of privacy. The apartment itself is reasonably modern and has not had any major issues in the time I've been here. The only minor downside is that the ceilings of the lower level apartments are not very well dampened from impact noise, so if you are someone who is sensitive to the sound of footsteps overhead, I would recommend going for the upper floor. Every interaction with the property manager (currently Crystal) and maintenance staff (Sam) has been pleasant, and they have always taken care of any issues in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Westbrook as a place to live!"

"I have had an extremely pleasant experience as a resident of Westbrook. Crystal has been so helpful, and she’s quick to respond whenever I have a question. Whenever I’ve had an issue within the apartment, Sam has responded to the work order within 24 hours! Everything has been repaired properly, there have been no recalls for any issues. Love it here!"

"Pros: Sam (maintenance) is wonderful and responds quickly to any service requests. He is very thorough with repairs and a pleasure to interact with. You can tell how much he cares about the community. It is in a central location and not too large of a complex so parking generally isn’t an issue. Cons: For residents that haven’t moved in within the last few years units are worn down (they’ve done nice upgrades to units as people move out). Rent increases have been significant for the many years without any real upgrades to the property or to units that haven’t been moved into recently. Walls are thin and no sound proofing of floors so anticipate hearing your neighbors. Windows are old and single pain leading to higher energy costs / potential mold around windows if not treated regularly with mold/mildew cleaner. Had to pay several hundred dollars for a carpet cleaning that was supposed to be included as part of lease renewal."
